An intricately detailed, solid silver, Middle-Eastern hair comb that was carefully handmade from over 100 years ago. The repoussé (ancient technique of hand hammering from the backside of the piece) is open to interpretation - perhaps floral, or possibly even waves surrounded by a border of tiny clams.

Materials: Silver (tested)

Era: Circa 1880-1900

Size: 3 inches long by 2 3/8 inch wide (7.6 cm long by 6 cm across)

Weighs 39 grams.

Condition Report:

In great antique condition, some slight bending at very bottom of prongs, negligible.
